sculpture workshop
In this workshop we learn the basic principles of sculpture and experiment with materials like clay, wood, cardboard, etc.
We shall observe how an idea about an object we wish to create comes to life and the object appears ‘live’ before us!
The children get to use their imagination and learn step-by-step how to create a sculpture out of such things as a block of wood or a piece of old cardboard.
Yannis Harikleous
Born in Athens in 1995, he is a senior student at the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki and has attended the drawing and painting workshops of Michailidis-Kapnisis and Panayotis Beldekos and the Ornerakis school of applied arts. He has also taken part in seminars on lithography, silkscreen, typography and traditional Japanese woodcut. He has provided voluntary work at the special vocational high school of Egaleo, teaching printmaking and painting. He has taught drawing and painting to children and adults.
