A space for Life & Art!

FOUGARO as a whole is a large interactive work of art that invites visitors to an open dialogue with architecture, both industrial and contemporary, and the visual arts.

Here, painting, sculpture and installations are integrated in the day-to-day operation of all facilities and fuse into an overall experience. Works by established as well as emerging artists invite you to wander around, observe at your own pace and connect to art with no rules or limits.

Art projects in the open-air public areas with modern and contemporary sculpture, works by Yannis Pappas, Herbert Mehler, Sonja von Hoessle, and a bar designed by Manolis Haros. Painting, mixed media and photography in the Libraries and Workshops and in all other indoor spaces. At the Ernesto Café – Bistrοt you'll find an exquisite giant poster by Yorgos Vakirtzis, the micro-sculptures of Mark Hadjipateras, black-and-white photos of famous musicians and a unique collections of vintage posters for Blues and Jazz concerts…

Finally, an imposing, 36m-high chimney stack turns red after dark and accompanies the Jazz and Blues concerts with blue smoke.

At all corners of Fougaro there is no 'right' way to look at art: it only takes the right mood for letting art come and find you!

Exhibition "Winter Landscape"

@BLUE2

February 2026

The new exhibition "Winter Landscape" opens on February 12 in BLUE2 space. Curated by Florica Kyriacopoulos, the exhibition comprises works by 12 artists.

Paintings, sculptures, mixed media works and photographs by Greek and foreign artists from the FKPCOLLECTION make up this new exhibition that calls upon us to reflect on all those elements that conjure up a winter landscape the colours, textures, shades, reflections, objects, fruits and the light that convey the traits of one of the year's seasons — which may well be the "season within us".

The exhibition "Winter Landscape" features works by Angelos Antonopoulos, Petre Bulgaras, Thodoris Daskalakis, Mark Hadjipateras, Guillaume Krick, Vassilis Kypreos, Florica Kyriacopoulos, Alinda Mavrogeni, Lefteris Olympios, Apostolos Palavrakis, Joan Hernández Pijuan and Andreas Voussouras.
