Fairy tale marathon 2023

For one more year FOUGARO ARTCENTER hosts in SPACE9 the Fairy tale Marathon by postgraduate students of the Theatre Studies Dept of the University of the Peloponnese.

On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June 2023, the postgraduate students will take us on journeys to remote, imaginary, strange worlds. Their twenty-six fairy tales will come to life on stage, awaken our imagination and guide it into the world of fairy tales where anything can happen!

Daily  life is demanding and oppressive, full of anxieties and concerns. Everyone feels the need to unwind and wander into something imaginary, beyond the boundaries of reality. Thus fairy tales come to propose such a journey, through  signifier and signified, to an imaginary place where the real and the symbolic come together.
