printmaking
In this series of classes we shall get to know traditional printmaking, dealing mostly with the techniques of relief on linoleum and intaglio on Plexiglas. Through the study of the work of Greek printmakers we shall attempt to understand how we can create prints by engraving with light.
Using drawing as our main tool, we shall deal with compositions of objects and then with how we can turn it into a print, successfully conveying volumes, light and shade.
