8th International Nafplion Film Festival

“Bridges”
Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December 2025

FOUGARO hosts the 8th edition of the "Bridges" International Film Festival this year, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December. After seven successful editions in Nafplio, the festival has been established as an important cultural institution, significantly contributing to the cultural identity and international promotion of the city.

The festival's program focuses on Historical, Fantasy, Musical, and Philosophical Cinema, as well as contemporary Greek Cinema, presenting works by emerging creators, who will be present at the screenings. All screenings, along with the award ceremony for the Kapodistrias Film Awards, will take place at SPACE9.

This year’s festival poster, designed by animator Alexis Chaviaras, depicts the Arkadiko Bridge, the oldest preserved bridge in Europe and the world, built during the Bronze Age (13th century BC). The bridge symbolizes the timeless connection of cultures and eras.
