Springtime Messy Play
The magical world of Messy Play, the pursuit that agitates our senses, opens its gates and invites you to a unique sensory experience full of colours, textures and imagination!
We shall use clay, sand and multicoloured materials to prepare a springtime messy play setting where play turns into discovery and fun!
It is important that you wear a comfortable, easy-to-clean outfit and bring along a change of clothes — for messy play means getting dirty!
Participation fee:
€15.00 per child & escort - €22.00 for two siblings
What is messy play?
Messy Play is a sensory game that gets you dirty but provides incredible developmental benefits. It is the kind of play where there is no right or wrong way to play, has no restrictions and imposes no rules. It has no set aim or purpose and does not necessarily produce any outcome. Instead, it is a fully open kind of play that benefits all aspects of personal development —sensory integration, kinetic development, resilience, emotional expression— but also cognitive and mathematical development, language and socialisation.

Earth Day – The Fish Tree
In the world of the Fish Tree nature does not follow the rules that we think we know. Trees grow in the water, fish fly among the leaves and life is connected in magical ways. Our Earth is like that: a living organism where everything interacts, and everything we do to the water, the air or the soil comes back to us.
On this Earth Day, let us think differently. Let us imagine a world in which nature and humans live in perfect harmony; where the unlikely becomes possible.

We decorate the Swing!
We celebrate Spring through the age-old custom of the Swing, which stands for joy, rebirth and love! A workshop full of tradition, creativity and spring mood!
Participation fee: €12.00
What is the Swing custom, and where does it take place?
The "Swings" is an ancient custom of the Aegean islands which survives to this day, mainly on Lesbos. The Swings are set up by boys on Holy Monday, to be used by girls.
There are special songs that are sung with brio, in return for which the girls adorn the swings with fragrant cookies and flowers. This festive swinging lasts till Ascension Day.
The custom is said to have its roots in the ancient worship of Aphrodite, and this is why the girls are the stars and the boys serve!

DOODLING & SCRIBBLE ART WORKSHOP!
Discover the power of spontaneous drawing through Doodling & Scribble Art! A creative workshop full of free expression, experimenting and fun!
Participation fee: €12.00
What is doodling?
Doodling is a spontaneous form of free drawing that involves abstract scribbles, sketches and motifs. It often emerges as a subconscious, instinctive reaction to boredom, stress or the need for creative expression. Doodles are usually drawn on the margins of notebooks, on pieces of paper or any other available surface, with no specific aim or intention. Doodling can be instrumental in regulating emotions. When we doodle, our brain shifts the focus from stress and negative thoughts and channels our energy into a creative process.
