Messy play for Environment Day

The forest is full of secrets: trees whispering in the wind, flowers dancing in the sun, birds chirping stories. Watch carefully, and you might just see a little mouse, an owl… or even a Gruffalo!
Starting from our favourite story and using natural materials—earth, pine cones, leaves, sand, clay and sticks of wood—the children will play freely, create and explore the materials provided by nature!

The aim of this messy play experience is to bring children and parents in contact with the natural environment in a happy, experiential way; to promote the idea of looking after the Earth, to observe the natural world and to help us realise that nature is not just something 'out there': it is part of us, and needs our care.
Love for the environment is nurtured through play. And it is only the things we love that we can protect.

Important note: make sure that you wear a comfortable, easy-to-clean outfit and Crocs-style footwear, and bring along a change of clothes. Also, please let us know of any allergies.
