Summer Campaign

The Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity 2025 begins at FOUGARO ARTCENTER, from Wednesday 18 June at 19.30 and every summer Wednesday!

This summer's programme takes us on a journey into the world of mythology and fairy tales. Heroes and elves, spells and secrets coming from ancients myths, legends, from folklore and fairy tales… all these transport us into magical worlds where fantasy and truth mingle and everything seems possible!

The Libraries of FOUGARO ARTCENTER join in the action for an eighth consecutive year, collaborating with our network of volunteers of our KIDS' LIBRARY to implement creative pursuits for children!

With our motto "In the library everything is possible: heroes and elves, myths and secrets", we turn libraries into places of discovery, adventure and creation! Amidst an atmosphere of myth and magic of this year's Summer Campaign, we invite you on a happy, magical journey along its paths and labyrinths!

About the Summer Campaign

The Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity 2025 is organised by the National Library of Greece in close collaboration with the Laboratory of Educational Applications and Production of Educational Material of the Department of Primary Education, School of Education, University of Athens (Director: professor Konstantinos D. Malafantis). The libraries will be coordinating their actions throughout the summer, while the participants of all ages can share their reading experiences on the social media under hashtags #ΚΕ2024gr and #forEBEr.
