FOUGARO ARTCENTER welcomes back the Educational & Social Actions of the Greek National Opera on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 January 2025. Giving emphasis to the equitable participation of all individuals in artistic projects, the two institutions co-organize an experiential workshop on issues concerning the disabled, with free admission for the public.

The workshop is addressed to professionals in art and general education, cultural professionals, prospective educators, social workers, psychologists, caretakers, individuals interested in exploring the concepts of inclusivity and accessibility into their practice as well as anyone else with a special interest in art education.

Using tools from the arts of musical theatre, music and motion, the two-day workshop is designed to develop and diffuse the knowhow required for a more inclusive and accessible way of designing, organising and implementing educational actions addressed to disabled adults. The subject matter focuses on the design and implementation of educational and art workshop and the diffusion of effective practices. At the same time, participants shall have the opportunity to participate as members of a team in an interdisciplinary workshop and share practices, thoughts and ideas in the context of discussions around education.
