ART MONIA FESTIVAL 2025

house music festival
Friday 18 & Saturday 19 July 2025

FOUGARO ARTCENTER welcomes for a second consecutive year the Art Monia community for the 2nd house music festival of the city of Nafplio. The two days of the festival are dedicated to the fascinating world of electronic music, to freedom and collective experience.

More than just a musical event, Art Monia Festival 2025 is a cultural experience that combines the sound of house music with the city's energy, inhabitants and visitors. Through electronic music we establish an institution that bridges generations, connects cultures and joins communities.

With respect for the roots of house music but with the gaze on the future, this year's edition of the festival welcomes both established and emerging artists, sets up creative spaces and proposes urban pop-up experiences, live art, workshops and actions beyond the confines of the stage. Art Monia Festival 2025 turns FOUGARO ARTCENTER into a vibrant place of experience!

ARTMONIA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025 LIVE art shows

Nefeli Terzi
Her journey into weaving is deeply personal, filled with memory, tradition, and a quest for cultural meaning. She grew up in her mother’s weaving studio, established in 1996.The textures and scents of natural dyes, along with the sound of the loom, were part of her daily life. Yet, her own path took shape over time. After studying 3D animation and illustration in Athens and working in the city's nightlife for several years, Nefeli sought a new direction. In 2016, she moved to Iceland, where she worked in wool production and later studied traditional weaving with her first teacher, Hata, in a remote mountain village. There, she began to see weaving not just as a craft, but as a way to connect with place, time, and community. During the pandemic, she returned to Greece to reconnect with her roots and the feminine culture embedded in textile traditions. In 2021, she and her mother, representing the first and second generations, revived the family weaving workshop. Today, her work continues this legacy, weaving contemporary stories into ancient techniques. At the ART MONIA Festival 2025, Nefeli will present “The Web of Memory – Arachnaio”, as performed live, embodies the dialectical relationship between drawing and weaving. The collaboration between Nefeli Terzi and Nikos Kanoglou is not merely a merging of two media, but a co-formation of a shared visual language. Here, weaving becomes an act of embodied memory, a web still in the making, shaped by time and the gestures of the hand.

Petrina Koutouzou
In 2022 she founded Perry’s Frames, her personal creative, bringing memories to life through handmade, personalized embroidery canvases. It all began with a simple idea, making thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for the people she loves. Over time, that turned into a passion for telling stories with needle and thread. Whether it’s a special memory, a beloved person or a custom design made just for you, each piece is a meaningful and heartfelt creation. Each piece is crafted with care, detail, and emotion - a small celebration of memory, stitched to last.
