atelier fanzine

by Irini Karayannopoulou
art workshop for teenagers 15+ & adults within the "now women" project
Thursday 6 July 7-9 pm

We get together and create an artistic fanzine, a collective artist book / magazine, whose pages will be collage creations.

Participants will need to bring images from the gaming world, or with superheroes, actors, musicians, people they admire or are interested in. Then we proccess these images through painting, paper cutting or collage and add text, if we feel like it.

We will work on the composition of the images, on the colors, on the textures and then we will draft our magazine. Each of us will have a whole page. After scanning our creations one by one, using the IN DESIGN program, we will compose the mockup for printing.

We can immediately see the result of our work taking the form of a magazine. Sébastien Marteau*, who has extensive experience in the magazine press, undertakes the design, layout and printing of the magazine.
