Saturday 9 March 2024, at 12.00 noon | KIDS’ LIBRARY.

FOUGARO and Kaleidoscope Press in collaboration with the 3rd Nursery School of Nafplio invite you to meet the illustrator and writer Persa Zacharia and her book I, the little monster.

We’ll be expecting you!

about the book

What can happen if you meet a monster?
Where does it come from, and what is it trying to say to you?
Little Titos chats, plays and grapples with his little monster now and then… until he understands where it comes from and what it is trying to tell him.
A picture story about what we carry inside us, about what suddenly appears before us, about what we see and occasionally overlook…
The book tenderly touches on the moments of doubt in a child who gets to know and talk to himself. We witness uncomfortable scenes where Titos and the little monster clash, until Titos finally looks the monster in the eye, speaks to it and answers its questions. He comes to realise the monster’s existence within him, to acknowledge and love it.
