Crochet
MALLIA COUVARIA is a workshop that teaches the basics of needle and crochet knitting. This year, we welcome the winter by knitting our own objects.
We learn the key techniques of crocheting and make toy animals, pencil cases, bags and more. We develop our fine mobility, activate our imagination and feel the joy of creating!
Christina Tsekoura
Born in 1975 and having grown up at Iria, she is a graduate of the Dept of History & Archaeology of the University of Ioannina, The Theatre Studies Dept of the University of the Peloponnese and holds a postgraduate degree in ‘Drama and Performing Arts in Education and Lifelong Learning’ (University of the Peloponnese). Active in education since 2003, she has participated in many experiential workshops on drama in education. She is enrolled in the postgraduate programme of Modern and Contemporary Greek History of the Hellenic Open University. Since 2013 she works with Fougaro’s libraries and workshops, teaching robotics, computers and handicraft.
