Creative motion workshop

Choreographers and dancers Danae & Dionysios, in collaboration with FOUGARO ARTCENTER, are coming to Nafplio for a motion workshop and an evening of contemporary dance. From 18 to 20 July they will run a three-day workshop at Fougaro, open to participants of all ages who will get acquainted to contemporary dance in an active and experiential way. They will experiment with basic coordination exercises and explore ways to establish corporeal references in a team context, always with the focus on play and personal experimentation; upon completion of the workshop they will share their practice and the things they tried with the local community, embracing the exposure to the new experiences that contemporary dance can provide.
The programme is completed on July 20, when Danae & Dionysios will present two plays at the Railway Station Theatre at 8 pm. Napi, the girl and the bubble  is the story of the fascinating friendship between a girl and a mysterious yet familiar creature; a play for all ages. Farisa is inspired by the notion of pilgrimage to Span, its animals and its natural landscapes; the play follows the need for true connection and contact between two characters who remain in constant proximity.
