FOUGARO JAZZ FESTIVAL #10
From Friday 16 to Sunday 18 September, FOUGARO invites you to a three-day celebration of jazz, with 6 bands & 20 musicians representing the contemporary jazz scene in Greece—from its most experimental to its most mainstream versions!
After 2 years of the pandemic that cancelled our established festival, this year FOUGARO makes a forceful comeback onto the jazz scene, with screenings of historic jazz concerts and an extensive exhibition of vintage posters for the most famous jazz musicians of the 20th century from the FKP COLLECTION!
10 years of the FOUGARO JAZZ FESTIVAL
Under Haris Kavadias as art director, the festival has become a regular annual institution in town and is now known throughout the country. Since the inaugural event of autumn 2013, it has enabled over 30,000 spectators to enjoy dozens of artists from established or emerging ensembles.
