Greece reads Poetry

On Saturday 25 May 2013 at 19.00, Fougaro invites you to Anthos Library for a unique poetry evening that features six distinguished poets.

Based on the vibrancy of contemporary Greek poetry, eminent poets will convey to the audience the magic of poetic creation, presenting their own works in an interactive event that promises to establish a dialogue with the history of Greek poetry and its evolution in our time.

Reading their poems will be Yorgos Blanas, Yannis Yfantis, Antonis Fostieris, Demosthenes Davvetas, Thanassis Hatzopoulos and Dimitra Christodoulou. The introduction will be by Dr Demosthenes Davvetas.

The event is realized in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Secretariat and Special Advisor Dr Demosthenes Davvetas.
