Handicraft & Sculpture
Each week, the children will ha ve the opportunity to discover handicraft by experimenting with materials, colours and techniques.
In this open workshop, children:
- Develop their imagination and creative thinking;
- Cultivate patience and self-expression;
- Enjoy collaboration and teamwork.
Each class involves:
- Experimenting with different materials like paper, wood, fabric, air-drying clay, natural materials, etc.
- Easy yet original construction and decorating techniques
- Enhancing imagination through play and cooperation

Carnival Art workshop inspired by Henri Matisse
For this year's Carnival we seek inspiration from the great artist Henri Matisse and the unique world of his floral motifs, shapes and figures. Using simple materials, the children create unique carnival masks and projects with an 'open end', where creativity knows no bounds

Pottery workshop with Bobble Head Animals!
A creative pottery workshop in which the children acquaint themselves with clay and some basic pottery techniques as they give form to cute little animals with swinging heads (bobble head).
Through play and free expression, the children design, shape and decorate their own unique work, developing their imagination, fine mobility and creative thinking.
This is a fun experiential workshop with the emphasis on the joy of creating!

Yannis Harikleous
Born in Athens in 1995, he is a senior student at the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki and has attended the drawing and painting workshops of Michailidis-Kapnisis and Panayotis Beldekos and the Ornerakis school of applied arts. He has also taken part in seminars on lithography, silkscreen, typography and traditional Japanese woodcut. He has provided voluntary work at the special vocational high school of Egaleo, teaching printmaking and painting. He has taught drawing and painting to children and adults.
