The journey of warp and weft continues at FOUGARO for a fifth consecutive year!
Weaving is one of the oldest crafts in human history. Over the centuries it has carried the traits of different civilizations, evolving and interacting with its time.
Participants will get to —
- learn the key principles of weaving
- familiarise themselves with the materials and the mixing of colours and motifs.
The workshop is addressed to beginner participants.
Nicoletta Rafailidi
Born in 1969 in Athens, she grew up in Nafplio. In 2019 she graduated from DIEK Epidaurus as a fashion & footwear technology technician, and is active in creative sewing, fashion design and creation, weaving, embroidery, painting on fabric, furniture upholstery. She collaborates with FOUGARO since December 2017.
