May Day at FOUGARO

Friday, May 1, 2026 & Saturday, May 2, 2026

As Spring reaches its peak, join us at FOUGARO ARTCENTER to celebrate May Day with two special visual arts workshops dedicated to young creators, nature, and the joy of the season!

Guided by visual artist Giannis Charikleous, our young friends gather at the FOUGARO square to participate in activities full of color and creative spirit, emphasizing the values of peace, friendship, and creativity within a blooming environment — the perfect source of inspiration.

Friday, May 1, 2026 | 11am–12:30pm & 12:30–2pm

The May Day Wreath (for children aged 5+)

Celebrating Spring through a connection with tradition and nature, we create our own May Day wreaths.

Using natural or handmade materials, young participants will craft a traditional symbol of renewal and beauty to take home and decorate their space.

Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 11am–12:30pm & 12:30–2pm

A Garland for Peace (for children aged 6+)

Encouraging expression, collaboration, and creative play, our young visitors work together to create a colorful garland dedicated to peace.

Using paper, drawings, and words, children express thoughts and feelings, write their own messages, and create a collective artwork full of imagination and optimism!
