Irondale High School Choir Concert

More than 50 young singers, aged 16–18, participate in the Irondale High School choir program, performing at a very high artistic level.
Director Jason Etten, now in his 27th year at Irondale High School, leads three school ensembles and two extracurricular groups, while also teaching small vocal ensembles.
Before their stop at FOUGAROARTCENTER, the Irondale choirs have performed in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, and San Diego, as well as in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Austria.
Farmington High School Orchestra Concert

The instrumental music program at Farmington High School includes hundreds of students participating in a wide range of ensembles: multiple concert bands, jazz ensembles, percussion groups, Color Guard and Pep Band, as well as soloists and small chamber groups.
Director Bradley Mariska, who holds a Master’s degree in Musicology and Music History from the University of Maryland, has been recognized as one of the “50 Directors Who Make a Difference” in the United States and has been included three times on the list of “Best Personalities in Music Education.”
St. Peter High School Orchestra Concert

The instrumental music department of St. Peter High School has a strong tradition in several areas, including marching bands, jazz ensembles, and two traditional concert bands.
Students from all high school grades participate in competitions and collaborations with other bands. Every two years the ensembles travel, alternating between a destination within the United States and one abroad. Recent trips have included visits to Italy and Austria.
Director Dave Haugh began his career as a member of collegiate music ensembles. He later earned a Master’s degree in Music from Minnesota State University, Mankato and has served as band director for grades 6–12 at St. Peter High School since 2009.
