The Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity is back! This summer, from Monday 17 June to Friday 6 September, the libraries of the Greek Libraries Network welcome their young friends and invite them on a fascinating journey, a quest … from the Earth to the sky! In this year’s Summer Campaign we learn, we think, we live in the endless universe and we count the innumerable, explain the inexplicable and seek answers to the things we see around us as well as those we cannot see.
Under the motto “From the Earth to the sky: I learn, I think, I live…” and based on knowledge, science, culture and humans themselves, this summer the local libraries turn into hubs of exploration and creativity, inviting us to make our own tour of the world and unravel the thread of life on the planet.
The Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity 2024 is organised by the National Library of Greece in close collaboration with the Laboratory of Educational Applications and Production of Educational Material of the Department of Primary Education, School of Education, University of Athens (Director: professor Konstantinos D. Malafantis).
The libraries will be coordinating their actions throughout the summer, while the participants of all ages share their reading experiences on the social media under hashtags #ΚΕ2024gr and #forEBEr.
The Libraries of FOUGARO ARTCENTER join in the action for a seventh year, collaborating with our network of volunteers to implement creative pursuits for children every Thursday afternoon!
