The Tree of Peace
On the occasion of the Greek National Day of October 28, our young artists will make their own Tree of Peace!
Using cardboard, coloured paper, glue and lots of imagination, the children will form on the leaves the words they associate with peace — love, friendship, respect, freedom, solidarity.
"Imagine all the people / living life in peace"!
Inspired by the illustrated lyrics of John Lennon's anti-war song, IMAGINE, and with the dove of peace as the hero

Yannis Harikleous
Born in Athens in 1995, he is a senior student at the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki and has attended the drawing and painting workshops of Michailidis-Kapnisis and Panayotis Beldekos and the Ornerakis school of applied arts. He has also taken part in seminars on lithography, silkscreen, typography and traditional Japanese woodcut. He has provided voluntary work at the special vocational high school of Egaleo, teaching printmaking and painting. He has taught drawing and painting to children and adults.
