Clothe Upcycling creatively converting our old clothes!

With this workshop we breathe new life into our old jeans, turning them into a stylish backpack! We show our awareness of the natural environment and express our creativity while conserving materials and energy for our planet’s sake!
Through a cycle of 4 two-hour sessions we learn how to use a sewing machine; sewing tools and basic sewing techniques; patterns, fabric cutting, patchwork technique, quilting, decorative needlework, sashiko & applique.

Nicoletta Rafailidi
Born in 1969 in Athens, she grew up in Nafplio. In 2019 she graduated from DIEK Epidaurus as a fashion & footwear technology technician, and is active in creative sewing, fashion design and creation, weaving, embroidery, painting on fabric, furniture upholstery. She collaborates with FOUGARO since December 2017.
