Major Charity Bazaar

at ATHENS14 in Kifissia

4-5 & 8-12 November 2023

 

Florica P. Kyriacopoulos has personally designed and organised a major charity bazaar in support of the aims of Merimna. The event is jointly organised with Friends of Merimna and the FOUGARO ARTCENTER.

Part of the proceeds will also go towards supporting TERRA PINDUS.

In the large exhibition facilities of ATHENS14 you will find a great assortment of things old and new… opportunities for purchases and gifts in support of the noblest of aims:

It is situated on the side road of the Athens-Lamia National Road (in the direction of Lamia) at the 14th km, between the junctions of Lykovryssi and Kalyftaki.
Access from the National Road: take the Lykovryssi exit and head along the side road towards Lamia. After 400m you reach the large building of ATHENS14.

MERIMNA
A non-profit society founded in 1995 to provide care to children and their families as they deal with life-threatening illness or the loss of someone close to them. Merimna provides free health and social care for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the Paediatric Palliative Home Care Service, which operates in Attica, and the Childhood Bereavement Counselling provided by the Children & Family Bereavement Counselling Centres in Athens and Thessaloniki.

Friends of Merimna

A non-profit society founded to support Merimna. It is a large group of volunteers whose shared objective is to provide Merimna with the resources and funds in aid of its work.

Terra Pindus
This is a noteworthy volunteer initiative which has been highly active since 2018 to create a trail for crossing Mt Pindus on foot. Terra Pindus aims to contribute to the protection and preservation of the mountain through a network of paths that will link Delphi with the Prespa lakes. Once completed, the Pindus Trail will extend over 860km.
